Luftwaffe FJ Badge good or bad?

Am posting this on behalf of Butch who is a member here. I have pointed out to him what I do like and dont like about this piece but I suggested you guys give it your opinions b/c Im not very versed in these. TIA and all the best, Jon

Going on the pictures supplied I would have say that it?s a late example, in zinc by ?The unknown maker? (possibly Friedrich Linden ? L?denscheid.)

I can?t comment on the engraving other than to say that the badge was made well after the ?1939? date that appears on the badge.

For comparison?a buntmetal version by the same maker.

It should be noted that some zinc examples will be found with the same hinge as used on the buntmetal version.
