Here is an interesting one, a field made one with a list of the guys combat days.

As you can see with the attacked list.... not all assault days were close combat days, and not all close combat days were assault days....

That goes some way to explaining why this DKiG winner from a sicherungs division had a close combat clasp, but no infantry assault badge... unusual, but possible...
