Chris Boonzaier Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 I think this is in Aschaffenburg, no year to the photo...any ideas?ThanksChris
Guest Rick Research Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Hmm. I have never encountered theEyes-Right-Left-Buttock-Rubbing salutebefore. The generic rain jackets and soft caps could be either early Stahlhelm or NSDAP... can you get any insignia at all on caps or collars? I suspect the former rather than the latter because they're not wearing armbands.
Robin Lumsden Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 (edited) They aren't NSDAP...............but look who's in the audience! This is a shot from that famous 'German Day' parade (1922, I think......I don't have my books to hand).Numerous right-wing groups paraded past Ludendorff, Hitler et. al.
