Bill Garvy Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 (edited) I'd like to thank fellow Iron Cross collector and dear friend Joe Campbell for the following Imperial Iron Cross in 2nd Class, maker marked "M" with a non-combatant ribbon. Please note the cloth tape on the reverse joining the ribbon ends together. . .obverse:reverse:maker mark: Edited August 18, 2005 by Bill Garvy
joe campbell Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 uh...apparently it arrived!bill and i have made a number of tradeswhich seem always to be mutually satisfying.i am the recipient of a pristine 1939 EK 2, 100 marked.because i freely admit i am a computer chimp, i am hoping bill might post a picture of it.i WILL tell you that i can think of very few people i would rather do business with. herr garvy consistently proves himself thoughtful, humorous, and generous with his knowledge.hope you enjoy the EK, bill!roscoe
Stogieman Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Hi Bill, an excellent example. Nice and clean and a "looker" of a ribbon to boot! Very nice!
Bob Hunter Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 Bill, congratulations on your new acquisition.
