EK 1914 EK2 marked Z

Hi guys, recently got this EK2, marked on the ring what looks like a Z. Steve showed his Z marked cross, but I see big differences in the make, the shape of the numbers and etc. Is this normal, such differences for one and the same maker? Or there is something wrong with my cross? /I hope Steve would not mind using his photos for the comparison/

For me it looks like an "N".......but it doesn't match to my example! So it looks like we have here another maker with more than one core!

I agree, the core details do look different. Perhaps you have an N marked cross, or maybe I do. These marks can get confusing on the EK2's. I say enjoy it and hope someone else comes up with an answer. Nice items you have there.
