DDR Bulgarian Award to an DDR General

Here is the latest thing in my collection arrived in the mail today from Police HQ Eastern Berlin.... sorry just kiddidn

New times no more DDR.

This is the Bulgarian medal for MVR ( the Bulgarian Ministery for inner affairs) or what is it called?

in 1974 it was the minsterium for police and of course KDS , the secret police like the DDR STASI.

This award is unusual because it is awarded to GenMaj Ewald Eichhorn vice minister for the MdI in DDR

maybe a "present" from the Socialist Bulgaria on he?s new rank of GenMaj?
