This is the Bulgarian medal for MVR ( the Bulgarian Ministery for inner affairs) or what is it called? in 1974 it was the minsterium for police and of course KDS , the secret police like the DDR STASI. This award is unusual because it is awarded to GenMaj Ewald Eichhorn vice minister for the MdI in DDR maybe a "present" from the Socialist Bulgaria on he?s new rank of GenMaj?
