saschaw
I'm posting this for a friend in Germany who isn't in this forum. He recently acquired a photo of an elderly man who wears an 1870 Iron Cross and Prussian Red Eagle Order and Crown Order and a Swedish Order of the Sword commanders, all three with their backs to the front. On the photo's back is written "Zur freundlichen Erinnerung an unser gemeinschaftliches Bem?hen zum Wohle des D.O.B. Potsdam 1936", D.O.B. presumably means "Deutscher Offiziersbund". Does someone knwo this man, is able to identify him or, most interresting question, has a reasonable explanation why he wears all his neck badges the wrong way?
