Guest Rick Research Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 I can't even begin to imagine why this was ranked ahead of 10 other Orders of the 2nd and 3rd classes, Maybe it was intended to impress friendly foreigners or recognize Olympics winners? It can't have done much for the self esteem of winners of the two lower classes of the Order of Che Guevara, and Combatants of the Liberation Order 2nd Class etc etc to have been "outranked" by ...soccer players or ???
Stogieman Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 I'm surprised at the price of the piece. A) because it's located in Bulgaria. (B) because it's "Private Bidder" and © because I know someone who had a hard time selling a cased one for quite a bit less than the current bid.Did you notice the "National Liberation" Order he's selling is paired with a Che 2 ribbon? Also, it looks like a copper colored center.... do we have an unknown/unreported third class version? Or just a bad scan??
Taz Posted December 8, 2007 Author Posted December 8, 2007 (edited) Additional images of the Order. Note that the Order is with the ribbon Distinci?n "M?rtires de Barbados" (m?rito deportivo) Edited December 8, 2007 by Taz
