EK 1914 Imperial EKII - how does it look?

Good evening gentlemen, as I am still learning about Imperial EKs, I was wondering if I could ask any of you how this one looks to you, I notice the box looks different to the other photos posted by Kev in deva, and the ribbon is placed in a different part of the box compared to the 1870 one, and also lying the opposite way in the box compared to the 1870 one -

there are probably hundreds of different

Imperial (1914, at any rate) EK 2 cases

that were available for private purchase,

ranging from basic black to quite exotic

and colorful.

yours is fine, as is the cross, based on the

pictures i see.

either gordon williamson's books or previtara's

"the iron time" would be a valuable investment

if you are going to proceed into these addictive

little buggers....

Hi Joe, and thanks for your time! I had a budget of 100 euros for this particular item, but it ended up going for about 130. It was tempting to keep bidding, but I must show some restraint! I will try to find those books you mentioned. Thanks again!
