Yugoslavia Order for Merit for People and Nation?

Gentlemen,

do you know this order?

I was told, that this order comes from YU and was given as award for merit for the people and nation.

The order consists of two parts.

Interesting ist that a symbol of double star was printed on a booklet which was posted by GMIC Member leigh_kitchen in posting 'Yugoslavian Marshal Josip Tito' (I have to learn how to post a post Link). The Symbol on this booklet is a double star one star with onother one. This is similiar to this orden. Maybe there is a link between the symbol on this booklet and this order or maybe not.

Could you make some comments on it please?

Maybe information I got is not correct and this order comes not from ex-YU.

Interesting is that this order is made from two pieces similiar to early orders of SU. I assume that this order must be dated to the WWII time.

I have no idea what it is.

Gentlemen,

I have also never seen that award before and it is for 100 % NOT from Yugoslavia, I assume.

The ribbon - form, size, colour & fabric - seems to me rather typical for an award from the former CSSR - Slovakian Socialist Republic or Czech Socialist Republic.

That medal has almost the same ribbon, as the Socialist Slovakian medal I presented here: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=18496

Maybe that's one of the numerous foreign awards Marshal Tito got during is career ?
