What are these awards on ca. 1940 Wh tunic?

Is that a Spange zum EK.2 1914 or an Ehrenblattspange? I can never keep those two apart. Also, what are the awards on the ribbon bar? It seems to me these are 1914 awards?

Hard to say with those South German style ribbons. Even straight on, the overlapping curved ribbons are

This reserve officer (no Wehrmacht long service awards) has

EK2 1914 with 1939 Spange from his buttonhole,

ribbon bar =

1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, another WW1 award, and the Hindenburg Cross with Swords.

It may be possible to tell where he was from-- and therefore what that 2nd ribbon bar ribbon might be-- if there are legible unit numbers on his shoulder boards.

It means that the person was awarded the IC2 twice.

The first time in WWI and the 2nd time for deeds in WWII

previtera states in his book iron time that 450.000 (?) Spangen for the IC2 were awarded during WWII. i hope this is correct. i have the book at home and can't check it up now.
