RichieC Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Associate Rick R and I were discussing the "Period Photo As Hard Evidence" subject earlier today at the local "collector's meeting". This particular theme entered the conversation, and it just so happens that I have an image of them in use.If anybody else is able to contribute other additional images, whether it be original, from a reference book, or whatever, it would be welcomed.
Guest Rick Research Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 I think those look more like the EQUALLY Never Before Seen In The West Model of 1952 (plate 137). But even then, the number of stripes doesn't seem to jibe with what they were supposed to be for, there being THREE here (different colored one atop two of another color, or two narrows over two mediums in your photo). So much remains undiscovered! (Who let that mug into the living room in those grubby overalls? Yeesh!!!!)
