    Looks like a tool for adjusting the front sight of a rifle. Does it have any markings.

    No markings.But i heard from some collectors that is for adjusting the front sight of K 98K.

    Look almost exacly like a Swedish front sight adjustment tool for the Swedish "Mausers" m96 and m38, thoose where sold in ordinary gunshops in the 40-50?s.

    I have seen some photos, of a german manufactured front sight adjustment tool. That one was marked with a waffenamt stamp.

    That is an attachment for small-bore rifles to enable an instructor to check the aim of the weapon while the recruit was learning how to use it.

    From the packaging and finish, it was probably a commercial item made for shooting clubs and paramilitary organisations.
