Ronny Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Hi, next cross I have this EKII 39My concern about the cross is the very lowSwastika, is that a problem? Is it a unmark 100?Thanks again,Ronny.
Tony Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Hello Ronny,Here's my 100 for comparison.I'm afraid all those TR EKs look the same to me if you cover up the bump on the top of the 100s.Tony
Ronny Posted September 4, 2005 Author Posted September 4, 2005 Wow that is a beautiful cross you got there. Thanks Tony.
David Gregory Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Tony,Spiffy cross. Is that one I saw at Wewelsburg castle last year?Cheers,David
Tony Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Tony,Spiffy cross. Is that one I saw at Wewelsburg castle last year?Cheers,David←Hmmm,I have 2 of them, one in the packet and one on a safety pin which I call dead mans cross (pictured above) as it was probably used for several casualties. I usually only show the dead mans cross but I'm not sure which one I took to Wewelsburg. The one in the packet is just as spiffy.Tony
Guest Darrell Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Actually guys .... I don't believe this is a unmarked "100". I'm pretty sure its an unmarked Juncker instead. The tell tale squished beading where the 12 oclock and 3 oclock arms meet is not present on Ronny's, plus the "3" in the 1813 date doesnt match to a "100".The numbers look pretty close to a Juncker. Plus the fact you can see some cross hatching at the inside corners of the beading as well
Ronny Posted September 5, 2005 Author Posted September 5, 2005 Interesting Darrell, Thanks. Anyone have a good picture of an L/12 forComparison? Some more pictures.Ronny.
Guest Darrell Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Hi Ronny,Got any closeups of the corners that touch the Swastika?
Ronny Posted September 11, 2005 Author Posted September 11, 2005 Hi Darrell,Here is a close-up pictureThe core is very lose and rattles when I shake the cross.Regards,Ronny.
