Japanese Dog Tag

Hello,

I have recently acquired this tag. I wish to learn anything of it that I can. I have some information from the seller, and believe it to be authentic, but would like to hear what any of you have to say. It's my practice to post items of which I am unfamiliar so if anyone recognizes this item and hence the seller please do not take it to mean I have concerns with regards to the transaction.

My Japanese is limited by I translate it to say "Kansai Airport Hilton hotel: Room 309"

The tag has the numbers 6555, 25, 120. Not sure what they refer to.

From different sources I have this now...

14th Area Army (Under overall command of Lieutenant General Homma.)

35th Army

16th Infantry Division (Referred to as the Wall Division.)

20th Infantry Regiment

2nd Battalion

25th Company

6555th Unit

120th Soldier

Anyone else have input here? I'm wondering if the Unit and individual soldier number may not be reversed. It's an interesting little puzzle and any information no matter how small is appreciated. It all helps unravel the mystery.
