Tiger-pie
[*]Right Breast - 2 citations (unit or squadron citations) awarded by US i think?Incorrect, they are both Australian citations. They are the Unit Citation for Gallantry which recognises extraordinary gallantry in action (green one), and the Meritorious Unit Citation which recognises sustained outstanding service in warlike operations (yellow one). Commonly refered to as the "Brick".Regards;Johnsy

I haven't earned one myself before so I found it difficult to know what it is.Thanks againScott
Tiger-pie
Interesting combo in the foreground. This bloke must have been attached to a Brit unit at some time as he has the Op Telic gong at the end of his rack. Most likely on exchange or loan.Regards;Johnsy

At the moment for those serving with the UN in Timor Leste they are getting the UNMIT. Regards;Johnsy
leigh kitchen
I think it's the same medal & ribbon for all three, UNTAET, UNMISET & UNMIT.

leigh kitchen
Ah, different - I liked the colours of the previous ribbon, not as garish as a lot of UN ribbons, I can see the symbolism of the RDTL colours but do'nt find them attractive - so there must be personnel with a previous medal plus the UNMIT one.
