Paul C
I just came across this bar on ebay and I question a china ribbon and saxon reserve/landwehr long service. Any additional thoughts?

Paul C
I should have looked at the seller first. It is Baff002. I think he is a known faker.
Guest Rick Research
That could be the Saxon XXV and perfectly alright as far as that goes, but I agree that this is a remarkably minty fresh looking ensemble andnot a very likely combination.SA3(b?)X and KO4X for China... OK.A Red Eagle 4 before 1914 (usually to MAJORS)... ooooooooooooooooohkay: where is any Saxon peacetime stuff? The routine SA3a.... NOTHING but an EK and a Saint Henry Knight during the war? NOTHING else? And in pre-1934/5 PRUSSIAN precedence? For a "Saxon officer." Not at ALL likely or proper. Not very likely at all. I cannot recall seeing such a combination in all my readings of Roth. If there WAS somebody with such a peculiar combination, there would/could only be ONE-- and he'd leap off the pages.I'd say it's a parts bar.
