Hi,

s the uniform in post 4 a red cross? Or volunteer stretcher Krankenpflege?

Freiwillige Krankenpflege. Aside from the arm band and red cross/white background insignia on the cap and collar, the shoulder boards were plain feldgrau (no piping) with silver buttons with a cross. Ranking from Sektionsfuhrer, Zugfuhrer-Stellvertreter and Zugfuhrer would be one, two, or three inverted white stripes respectively on the lower left sleeve.
