I picked up this little pin for my brother Anthony in Ireland, he is mad about TANKS.

So, I thought it would be appropriate for him

It measures: 37mm X 26mm.

To the Left side VIII

UPPER LINE: PTTK-1976

To the right of the tank a downward pointing sword with twi fish (?) whales (?) above 50 over LAT

The writing on the bottom line reads:

RAID SZLAKIEM ?ANCERNYCH.

The material from which the badge is constructed is like linoleum

Simple broach fastening to rear.

That's Polish, I think. Maybe Czech.

Last initial must be "P"--

In one of corners 50 Lat is written. Lat money in Lithuania

I thought "50 Lat" was whatever language was close to Russian "50 Let"-- so (1926-)1976?
