Scott P
I am looking at a D marked ek2 for sale.My problem being is that I have nothing to compare the core or stamp too. This guy wants a hefty price for this(for a 14 ek2).Its just that I have never in my short collecting career seen one with the stamp on the outside edge of the medal ring. Its not that I dont dought its possilble, its just better to askwhat other people think.I see that Tom from Florida(GO BUCS) has maybe one so hopefully he reads this. The pics of the front and back are from his site, the maker mark pic is what he emailed me.THANKS IN ADVANCEmfgScottuntitled.bmp

Motorhead
If it looks like this one......I know there's also a 2nd variation(but I can't remember if it's just the stamping or the core) but unfortunately I don't have some pics of it at my notebook.Micha

Bill Garvy
What seems to be unique about both of these examples is the "D" maker mark is stamped on the outside of the ribbon ring. Just an observation. . . Edited November 23, 2007 by Bill Garvy
