leigh kitchen Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) The good nowes - a friend in Poland gave me this a few years ago, & told me what it is.The bad news - I can't find the bit of paper with the details printed on it.......I think it was somethng to do with Russian Guards units.....Sorry, the system won't let me load up the photo - it's a badge the same as your one.Here we go..... There are also "Best of" the Navy and Soviet Air Force Badges.Earlier versions of these badges are made of brass and enameled (1960's). Later versions of the Proficient Army Serviceman (for enlisted men), badges are aluminium and painted (1970's & 80's).Regards Eddie Edited November 30, 2007 by Taz
