Austria-Hungary Unknown ribbon, possible Hungarian connections?

Hallo Gentlemen

I have this piece of ribbon in my collection and it was obtained locally in Transylvania,

however it does not seem to be a Romanian ribbon, its 45mm wide with thin red stripes

inter spaced with black thread steps.

outer.

Feels quite rough to the touch.

Any comments welcome.

It doesn't look Hungarian and is too wide for a Hungarian ribbon. At their largest, Hungarian ribbons were 40mm wide.

Checked the resources I have with no luck i'm afraid.

Because of the Red, White and black Austro-Hungarian or Austria maybe?

Here is a Hungarian ribbon for comparison purposes. These ribbons are normally found on sports awards. They are 40mm wide and soft and silky to the touch. Not rough as you had mentioned yours was.

I am also sure, that it isn't have any Hungarian or Austro-Hungarian connections.

It looks like a private ribbon or unofficial version because of the material.
