Baghdadi2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 The Iraqi General Adnan Khair allah (Saddam's Cousin) was selected as minister of Defence in Iraq since 1979 and up to 1988 . When the Iraq-iran war 1980-88 ended, he was killed by destroying his helicopter plane in air in 1988, the truth of his kiling is still misterious up to date.Anyway he was granted through these years in Saddam's Era the following medals & orders:on Feb, 1, 1987 - Order of Two Rivers (Rafidein) military type 1st degree.on the same date above also granted - 5 Bravery Medals.on May, 30, 1988 - Order of Two Rivers (Rafidein) civil type 1st degree.on the same date above also granted - Order of Iraq-Iran War (Qadisseiyyat)1st degree & also 2 Bravery Medals.on September, 27, 1988 - 4 Bravery Medals.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------the total was granted to him were 11 Bravery Medals & 3 Orders.I hope this information be usefull for inserting.Good Luck.

Baghdadi2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 The Pic attached here was for General Adnan's Statue in Baghdad near to Al-Shuhada (martyers) Bridge, now the statue was not available.also General Adnan was granted the Order of hero of Qaddiseiyyah Battle. which is today considered as one of most rarest orders in Iraq.Thanx.

Baghdadi2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Author Posted December 19, 2007 Hi Lorenzo, In this picture you attached before, shown was General Hussein Kamil (Saddam's Nephew & also husband of Saddam's daughter) was awarded by Saddam the following Iraqi orders and medals:Order of Qaddiseiyyah (with yellow Shoulder Ribbon) ,Order of Rafidein (2 Rivers) military type 2nd degree (with red ribbon, neck worn),Order of Rafidein (2 Rivers) military type 3rd degree (with red ribbon , breast worn,2 Bravery medals of Qaddeseiyyah (Iraq-Iran War).,one other medal not seen well.In this picture he was as a minister of military Indusrty , hope all is usefull.thanx.
