Guest IMHF Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 (edited) Iraqi Nut Herb Filistin/Medal for the War with PalestineThis is a Display Board from "Assmann" of the break down manufactured Iraqi Nut Herb Filistin Medal. Each board goes thru a break down step by step method of the detail that went into creating this awarded. 1948-49 If you look at the Medal you notice that there is no "A" Mark present so who knows who realy manufactured this award???This is like the concept of the English Coronation Medal for King Faisal being manufactured 5000 made from England/then going on to being manufactured by Huguenin Le Loche, Switzerland. This Assmann Board Display is in my Iraqi antique dealer friend's Collection in Baghdad, Iraq. I offered him $2,000.00 Dollars for it and he still will not sale it. Edited December 26, 2007 by IMHF
Ed_Haynes Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 It would be quite interesting, and surprising, if these turned out to be Assmann productions. Unfortunately, I suspect all the records (in Iraq) are destroyed. Who knows if anything can be found in Germany.

Ulsterman Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Superb! It must be Assman manufacture-why else the production board?
