    It is funny how some items can return to a collection. I sold this eagle a few years ago, thinking that it was a standard Police Eagle. I did not know that the Luftschutzpolizei used sleeve eagles until after I sold it. Well, after it traveling through a few owners, it finally returned home, where it belongs!

    Thanks Snoopy!! I have seen a few around, but they are not too common. I really like that it is well worn!!

    Are they that rare? This little guy does not want to leave me. It sold it once then it came back cheaper I sold it for initially. :cheers:

    The green LSP eagles are rare in themselves, but the THREE FEATHERED are very rare. This particular maker seems to have produced three and six feathered variants. Here is my 3 feathers. Same pattern, different colors. It is unknown why this variant was made, but there are a few period photos showing it being worn.

    Thanks for the information, Bill. The LSP eagle of mine looks like it served in the field for the entire war. It is really beat, but has a lot of charactor.
