Ferdinand Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 Bravery Medal # 3397744 was awarded to the 20- or 21-year-old Junior Sergeant Kaimurat Kadyrov, a squad leader in the 139th Cavalry Regiment, 34th Cavalry Division, 5th Cavalry Corps, 9th Army, Southern Front. It was awarded per Ukaz of 6 November 1947, which awarded decorations for wounds received during the War (OPW2's, Glory 3's, BM's, etc.).I believe Dave posted something about these Ukaz's here: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=7861 , but he deleted his posts...
