They German airforce dipped all the way down to Unteroffizier for flying personnel, but I can't recall ever hearing of a Gemeiner getting off of the ground.Chip

But there were also "Gefreiter" (private) as pilot. He could be also an pilot or gunner but probable he isn`t. Edited January 17, 2008 by jaba1914
