Dear Sirs,

the following item was offered to me

but I`m not sure if it`s a good one.

It should be the elephant of U-49

but the ?H?gel? said that the emblem

was planed but not created because

of the early lost of the boat on 15.04.1940.

Please tell me your opinion.

Well it is the emblem that was painted on the U-49 conning tower, if that helps at all.

Yes, the emblem is from U-49 but does

it exist?

I don't want to sink money

It would be great if some photos shows

it on caps or if there is any photo evidence

on books.
