Ed_Haynes Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 It is nice to know that the Germans in WWII had the time and industrial capacity to produce so many "display" items. That may be why they lost?
U Boot Kapitan Posted February 5, 2008 Author Posted February 5, 2008 Please note that the case is identical to that which the RK KVK came in, except for the GK shaped recess.Regards,Jason
Gordon Williamson Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Nice to see a GK that isn't one of the usual run of Souval postwar fakes. The blue GK cases are exceedingly rare. A four-figure price on its own, even without the GK.Last time I saw one of these shop/museum display copies in the blue case for sale was several years back in Germany and even then it certainly wasn't cheap.
all1knew Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Hello there, So who produced this GC? William Kramer
U Boot Kapitan Posted April 19, 2012 Author Posted April 19, 2012 (edited) Hi there, It has been suggested to me on a few occasions that it may be an S&L piece. I too believe this is most likely the maker. regards, Jason Edited April 19, 2012 by U Boot Kapitan
