Does someone recognise this bird and what period it was on use?/quote] It seems to me like a early (preproduction) model of the ju-87, It could be the prototype, with a british motor (Kestrel??), If only we could see the twin square Tail, that?s will be the proof.Miguel

Noor
I must say, photo is way too bad to get full view. Same time some parts (wing, cabin, wheels covers, etc) looks like the Ha 137 or some kind a strange JU 87. Same time I am not a specialist, so maybe someone more skilled (like you hipnos ) can say, what plane it is.
Noor
I got some extra information. Guy who thinks that its Ha 137 says: if under the wing letters are "D-IDTE" (its look like I am blind but I cant see them ) then its the last from six Ha. 137 V-6 what crashed 1937 of July. Laurence Strong
The spats are the wrong shape to be a prottype Ju87. Going by the down turn of the exhaust I would say a B&V Ha137 v5 Edited February 21, 2008 by Laurence Strong

hipnos
Here is one another photo what arrived today. What plane this one would be?It looks like a English Bulldog...But, If this is german, so we must search in the Fockewulf trainers... like the Focke-Wulf Fw 44 "Stieglitz"Miguel
Laurence Strong
Well I must admit, this one's a bit of a stumper. The wing "spars or struts" - not sure what the proper word is - don't match the FW 44 or the Bristol Bulldog.
