Stogieman Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 Gosh Chip.... I'm not that subtle... ;>)I was just hoping the Master could help me ID some of my older medal bars.... Now.... this one will be especially tricky...
Stogieman Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 OK, OK.... maybe I've been too hard on the Secret Research Gnome Community?Let's give them an easier one to ID...Now, this one would be so cool if we can figure it out.....
Verdun16 Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Love these single mounted decorations. Thanks for posting them,Bryan
Paul C Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Stogie..I get the joke. But a bigger joke is when the research tools are provided and they are not purchased and you still continue getting requests for IDing and awards. To be very honest I have stopped responding to people who continually ask for information and you tell them which ranklists or books to purchase and they refuse to buy the books.
Stogieman Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 OK, now.... if you guys had Paul's CD's AND Rick & Daniel's Books.... you MIGHT be able to ID this one:
Stogieman Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 OK, this ID will be a little tricky... I know..... but can he do it?????
Stogieman Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 OK, this one should be a little easier..... especially with the Brunswick device....
Stogieman Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 OK, I'll slip in an easy one now... Who is this Bavarian... see! I got you to the right state....
Paul C Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Right on Bro. The purpose of the forum is to SHARE information. It should not be a one way street. I am always willing to help out the new forum members and new collectors. I am also happy to provide research information to new collectors and mentor them along the way. I feel that it is the responsibility of experienced collectors and researchers to pass along the "how to" information to the new collector. This was done for me by two very experienced collectors, one in the US and one in Germany. I will be eternally gratefull to both of these guys.
Stogieman Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 Now... if they finish W?rttemberg... we can figure this guy out??? Maybe???
Stogieman Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 OK, just to show it's not all hard.... for sure this one can be identified......(See... most of this stuff really has lived here one time or another. How scary is that!?)
Stogieman Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 OK, OK... let's up the ante. How about this one.. ?? Can this fellow be identified?? Apart from the fact that you can see it in a rather famous book...
Stogieman Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 This one might be tricky.. but with three?? Oh Evil Twin?... where are you???
