C Baimberger, Nurnberg

Hi all, I should have bought this buckle ages ago but luckily it was sat quietly in Bill Sheas for sale bits for ages and now I have it. It is only the second buckle by this maker that I have seen, hence I should have bought it when I first saw it. Anyway, nice Heer buckle by the maker Carl Balmberger from Nurnberg, he was not on the M4 makers list but I believe had a M1 contract, an M9 and maybe another. Another nice rare maker goes into the collection

Uwe, you are right, I have just had a good look at the tab through a spy glass, and the I is an L, in the publication that I have it says Baimberger and not Balmberger, thanks for that Info
