Guest Rick Research Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Brought by today by an Epsonless friend for scanning--This sturdy, double sided, and LARGE shield shaped patch would seem to have been intended for SOMETHING like a sports vest, since it is as wide as a sleeve, so too large for that sort of patch. But RED background??????
Scowen Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Koj is your man for this stuff, but I don't know if he visits any longer. As far as I'm aware these patches were worn by officals on the left breast of the track suit top. You can also find them with "Sportamt" & "?bungswart" written on them.CheersDon
Guest Rick Research Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Ah! Never encountered any of those before!
Tom Hall Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 They also came with "Schiesswart" and "Skiwart" on them in black lettering. So they were worn by coaches and I assume were on the left pocket of a jacket.
Scott Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Don't forget the rarely encountered DAF Santa Suit cuff title...
