One of the reasons I like Imperial Eks is the amount of variation to be found.

Here are four crosses showing that.

A nice heavy silver framed Godet. A brass framed AWS pillowback. A mint frosted

B.H. Mayer, and a 1920's one piece replacement style cross.

The frames go from silver, to gold, to silver and white, to silver and gold.

greg, I'm with you in regards to all of the variations in which collecting these a complete joy. You'll never know what you'll find and there always seems to be another with a slightly different feature than the last..

Love the patina on the Godet. That contrast is truly what makes the Imperial crosses so fascinating and fun to collect. On another note. As much as I hate looking at ebay, I happened to check it yesterday, and I just missed out on bidding on a very nice Imperial screwback that was the same type featured on a full page in Stephen's book, The Iron Time. Did anyone here happen to notice it, or even land it?

I was watching it for a few days but in the end it went for a little

more than I was willing to spend.
