leigh kitchen Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Not so much a poster as a sticker really, about 12 - 15 cm long by about 5 cm wide.I've had it a few years, never seen one anywhere else, although I assume that they were & still are liable to be fairly common.
herr Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I have doubts of the originality of these, I know they are on alot of belgian military showsHerr
leigh kitchen Posted August 11, 2008 Author Posted August 11, 2008 Never know, it could indeed be another bargain buy from WAF, 'tho it looks nice n old to me. Belgium would be the place you'd expect to find them I suppose, perhaps by the box load at an old office or printers.
WRANGEL Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Yes there are really nice original stuffs but also plenty of reproductions in the Belgian military shows. If you have no knowledge of paper (how it is made, how a 80 or 70 years old paper should look today) and impression techniques (litography, offset, serigraphy...) then I suggest either to pass to another theme of collection or to strongly document yourself otherwise you might have a chance of becoming victim of a crook. It is better to waste a bit of time studying vintages poster, then wasting your money on a fake poster. Bill
