This appears to be another case where the Comrade's rank limited the reward he received, since being first in crossing rivers under opposition and capturing superior numbers of the enemy would have gotten an OFFICER Comrade something with lots of nice enamel.ALWAYS good citations for Glories-- even when one was really not enough for the deed it earned! :beer:
