Kev in Deva
Serbian WW1 commemorative medal, wrong ribbon, it was issued with a ribbon in the Serbian colours of red, white and blue. This one has a modern replacement ribbon.Kevin in Deva
Ed_Haynes
And (and the dates might have given this away?) hardly "communist". Could someone with the power move it.

Guest Rick Research
Moved-- no bigee, do it all the time and have been known to send things to the wrong place myself on more than one occasion. Luckily when an attempt to "fix" something goes Hideously Wrong and everything vanisheds without trace, no fingerprints get left behind as evidence. Added the description to the title so that it is labelled for correct attention. As a matter of fact, I think one of the dealers at a show I go to may have an old ribbon for this. I'll check next month.
Ed_Haynes
Yes, once upon a time, the ribbon used to be easy (enough) to find.
Rosenberg
Ed,I agree on the importance of the correct labeling and thanks Rick for the processing of that If the ribbon does not cost an arm I would be glad to hear back from you after that show. Would be a tough nut to crack for me to find one here,I am pretty much surprised to have come across the medal itself.
Ed_Haynes
It is a nice medal, especially when one pauses to ponder what it represents. Have you tried the OMSA ribbon bank?
