Hello Yed,

This is a clearer picture of the Perak D.P.M.P (Order of the Crown of Perak) of my collection.

D.P.M.P. is 2nd class set of Order of the Crown.

People will get confuse, because they do NOT know that the shape of Order of the Crown has been modified during the reign of Sultan Azlan.

This set is the current version, but it's third version.

This is a D.P.M.P. breast star of the first version of Order of the Crown. I just own the breast star.

This version was then modified somewhen in the late 80ies or mid 90ies.

This thread show clearly the evolution of the shape of the Order of the Crown of Perak.

Here shown are A.M.P Ahli Makhota Perak : Member of Order of the Crown of Perak (lowest rank of this Order).

The first type badge was 8 pointed small silver star, then the second type is a 9 pointed small breast star with smooth gilded arms (retain exact same ribbon as the first type), then the third version is 9 pointed small breast star with featured design on the gilded arms.

The 2nd type retain the ribbon from 1st Type, but design of badge evolute from 8 to 9 points and also center changes.
