EK 1914 1914 EK I

a private purchase, cased EK I, with a small,

enameled 1914/18 commemorative cross with

a small photo on it has recently come into my possession.

the pair are in wonderful condition, as is the case.

i suspect it was a gift to the gentleman who received it.

it is engraved on the back:

Dr. Stoewer.

his picture is in officer's uniform, but is so small that there

is little hope i will obtain more detail regarding him.

is there any hope of finding more information regarding him?

i am working on getting some pictures together to post.

hopefully further details of the doctor may be gleaned from the small foto once it is enlarged (if it is indeed the type of sweetheart item i am imagining-some of them had incredible detail).
