WW1 Helmet prices?

How mauch of a price difference would you put between an M16 and a M18 helmet?

Condition being the same, I would guess 40% more for the M18.

You wouldn't believe it if I told you. Just look at Ebay, there are always some for sale. I guess at $400 and up, way up, they are still a bargain compared to WWII German helmets.

Nice, I like & want a few. Surprisingly I've never picked one up, just "look a likes" - a 'tween the wars job with transitional liner, an Irish Vickers of the 1920's, & a 16 or 18 in relic condition & with 2 x small holes in the front for a badge to be affixed, probably the Serbian eagle badge as it was found in the Bihac area of northern Bosnia.

I want a plain & a camo of each type I suppose, I'll get around to picking them up one day.

About a year ago on ebay buy it now someone had 2 helmets, the M18 and a really nice M16 for sale. Buy it now EUR70 for both....

I was so surprised I almost forgot to buy them... ;-)
