Guest Rick Research Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Schürmann does not appear in the 1918 Prussian or Reichs Handbücher. Kerp-- no: adds EK2w, KHDK, KO3, PrLD2 in the 1918 Reichs... but nothing else non-Prussian. (Rather surprised no Prussian Red Cross medals!!!)
webr55 Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 Another unresolved case -- difficult, as it is probably a civilian.
webr55 Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 After so many years, I have come up with another possible suspect: Dr. Albert Brecke, born 1862 in Hannover, got the Bavarian St. Michael 4 w/ crown in 1905 as Stabsarzt. Went aD in 1896. Listed in the Ehrenrangliste under "Wiederverwendete inaktive Sanitäts-Offz." as Oberstabsarzt aD, Landwehr Feldlazarett 11. Does anyone have more information about him?
webr55 Posted October 14, 2021 Author Posted October 14, 2021 (edited) From the Stammliste der Kaiser Wilhelms-Akademie für das militärärztliche Bildungswesen 1910: And he was alive in 1930 as Obermedizinalrat (from Kölnische Zeitung): Edited October 14, 2021 by webr55
webr55 Posted October 16, 2021 Author Posted October 16, 2021 (edited) Lived in Stuttgart at the time. He is last found in the Adressbuch Stuttgart in 1930. In 1931, there is only his wife Johanna. Edited October 16, 2021 by webr55
