Eric Stahlhut
this one has a three--piece second class cross instead of a first class. tiny planchets w/prongs were soldered onto reverse of iron cross frame, which were threaded thru the star and backing disc. construction reminds me of certain meybauer items. Eric Stahlhut
based on the general condition of the item, i'd say that this piece was actually worn-perhaps either on stage or on a film set. the dings and dents are pretty much were they should be
Mike K
Eric, what's the size of the EK? I ask because the large crowned core seems to match TR and post-war produced EK1 cores.RegardsMike
