I see a "L/50" maker marked Iron Cross in 1st Class manufactured by Godet, Berlin with some light rusting evident on the core. . .

Textbook, I bought mine from the above Mr. Garvy for that matter!

Seems the core finish on Godet crosses did not hold up well as most found are bubbling, rusting etc... On occasion a real nice example can be found.
