It says 255 on his shoulder boards , but I cant find anything about Inf Rgt 255 on the net, was it a preussian unit? what rank has he ? It belonged to 77th Reserve Division on the Russian Front 1915-17 but ended the war in 83rd Division in France.Carnuth also got the L?beck Hanseatic Cross in 1918.
