Motorhead
This one came together with the document(but of course no proof that they are belonging together). The medal is mounted on a piece of card bord,so I think it was just stored behind a frame. Heiko, are the clasps OK? That was my first buy of battleclasps on my own....... I hope they are OK!Micha Edited January 17, 2009 by Motorhead

Guest Rick Research
What's the document? That will reveal whether the 2 bars match his unit.

Ulsterman
I.R. 79 was part of the 20th I.D. in 1870-71 and under the rubric of the Xth A.K.-under Voigts-Rhetz, brigaed with IR 56 in IB 39. According to my booklet this regt. did not get these clasps. Edited January 17, 2009 by Ulsterman
