Chris Boonzaier Posted February 27, 2009 Share Posted February 27, 2009 This is of course a retroactive award...Question is... the 8eme Chasseur spent a long time in Algeria in the 1840s, then a year from 1875-76 (When nothing was going on)Was the Algeria bar handed out all the time, or just during periods of combat?Is there a list that goes into this in detail?If this is from the 1840s, a lot of research potential... in the 1875 period a bit of a dead end...
