While accomplishing the battalion?s combat mission during the motorized forces? crossing of the Don River, Battalion Medic Radchenko cared for the health of the soldiers in her sector. She cared for various types of ill soldiers. Her care motivated the soldiers and the commanders.

Radchenko graduated from a medical technical school. She entered the armed forces in 11.41, promoted to Junior Lieutenant on 110.10.43 by the Voronezh Front, Medical Services Junior Lieutenant by the 1 Ukrainian Front on 6.1.44 and to Lieutenant on 30.1.46. She first served in the 209 Engineer Obstacle Battalion, then the 49 Engineer Brigade, then finally released from service 28.12.46. She also had a sister.
