His "erlernter" (learned) job was "G?rtner (gardener)

His "ausge?bter" (practised) job was "dito" (ditto) = (also gardener)

Douglas-- here is an example of why there are those two lines:

Rabl was trained as a farmer (Landwirt) but his current job was trolley car driver (Stra?enbahnfahrer).

In between he had been a soldier, Freikorps member, and career police sergeant!
