KDVR Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 HELLO FRIENDSIN MY OPINION A GOOD ONE. PLEASE WRITE ME YOUR OPINION.WHAT'S THE VALUE OF THIS VERSION (FOR INSURANCE REASONS)THANK YOU!KDVR
Alfred Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 (edited) The Medal for Distinguished Service in Protecting the Public Order looks good to me. Looks like a silver plated version. (Variation 3)But picture from an 90 / 180 degree angle are better. Also a big picture of the globe with hammer and sickle is helpful. Also the weight of the medal is interesting. Some very good fakes have a different weight as the originals. The weight should be in this range: 16 + 1 Gramm . And the ring of the medal is also sometimes a good indicator to recognise fakes.best regradsAndreasexample: Edited May 9, 2009 by Alfred
Guest Darrell Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Again I agree with Alfred , also I agree that the pictures need to be taken a 90 degree angles. The pudding is in the pie of the ring so to speak. Here's my variation 2, and the kind of pictures you need to post
